This morning I woke up at 5:15 to a dear friend’s text message explaining how she would be praying for me and how encouraged she was by this blog. I’m continually left speechless by the kind of support I’ve found in the past two weeks! Even if it wakes me up a little too early (my alarm was set for 6:50), I can’t be upset.
I honestly wasn’t expecting anything from anyone and had figured out how to raise all of the money needed for this trip by selling my belongings. The Lord allowed me to sell a few things, but His ultimate goal was to use people to fulfill His purpose with my life. I would be a fool to try to get in the way of that!
I am currently sitting in terminal D at gate 21 of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It is 12:26pm. My flight is scheduled to leave at 3:40pm. From here I will go to Charlotte, NC, where I will have an hour wait for my next flight to Dublin! I am expected to arrive in Dublin at 6:50am, Thursday. Its going to be a seven-and-a-half hour flight from Charlotte.
I have never been able to sleep on a plane, so my objective right now is to rest as much as I can and hope to pass out every once in a while on the flight. When I get to Charlotte I will hopefully find some time to write another quick entry explaining my goals for this trip in more detail.
